Nada Khan
Nada Khan is an educator and multilingual professional currently based in Philadelphia with experience in teaching and student engagement across diverse settings.
Her work involves supporting education access and youth development initiatives, focusing on high school and immigrant learners. Nada’s background includes teaching English and debate at the secondary level, leading peer academic support programs, and collaborating with ESL initiatives in both Kuwait and the U.S. She has worked with college and career readiness programs supporting Philadelphia youth and continues to contribute to similar initiatives at the University of Pennsylvania, where she is pursuing an M.S.Ed. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
Her academic interests involve classroom discourse and conversation analysis, specifically examining how multilingual students’ interactional practices can inform curriculum design and assessment.
